Demon House. The movie, which centers on the Ammons haunting case, was released by Freestyle Releasing in the United States on March 16, 2018, with Lost Footage from the movie following on January 1, 2019, and an uncut version of the movie airing a few days later on February 16, 2019.
The home where the purported Ammons hauntings took place is purchased by Zak Bagans. Bagans supervises a group of sleuths who are investigating the house. The crew starts noticing strange things and worries about what they could be getting into.
Zak Bagans, the host and executive producer of «Ghost Adventures» on the Travel Channel, became intrigued after reading a story in the IndyStar about Latoya Ammons’ claims of being possessed by a demon inside a «Demon House» in Gary, Indiana.
In the rental home between 2011 and 2012, Ammons claimed she and her three young children were possessed by spirits. Even the most ardent skeptics were converted to believers as a result of an investigation by the Gary Police Department and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
Bagans is an author, actor, and paranormal investigator in addition to serving as the host and executive producer of the Travel Channel’s «Ghost Adventures» series. In 2014, after reading an IndyStar article about Ammons’ allegations of demon possession inside the house, he purchased and later destroyed the «Demon House» on Carolina Street in Gary, Indiana.
Based on the experiences of Ammons and her family, he produced the two-hour documentary horror film «Demon House» in March 2018.
